脚本家・三谷幸喜夫人、女優・小林聡美のエッセイ。以前にもエッセイを出版していたようなのだが、今回書店で偶然目にしたので購入してみる。この女優のプロフィールなど、詳しいことは知らないのだが、何となく好きなタイプの女性だと思っていたので、ついつい手にしてみた。読後感もなかなか良い。思った通り、私の好きなタイプだったらしい。作家ではないから、当然そんなに凝った文体などは用いていない訳だが、彼女の人となりが良く現われている。結婚五周年の海外旅行を、直前になって夫にすっぽかされ、一人で行っちゃおー！　と出掛ける話から始まり、夫婦でも独りでいる時間を大切にしているサマも良くわかって、とても楽しかった。
夫の三谷幸喜が、見た目の坊ちゃんぶりに反して良く泣くのも面白い。そりゃぁ、色々あるだろうけれど、毎日がコメディーな夫婦生活のようで、傍から読むのはとても楽しかった。

小林聡美っていう女優、なんかどうしても気になってしまうんですよね、私・・・。
ドラマにでてるとつい見てしまうし、本当にはずせない脇役というか、演技派っていうか・・・。
だからエッセイも読んでしまうんですよね。
どんな生活してるのかなって・・・。
三谷幸喜と結婚してからの方がよりいい味出してきてるという気がします。
マダムになった小林聡美はいい文章書いてると思います。
幸せなんだなぁと感じさせてくれる一冊です。
気軽に読めてクスッと笑ってしまうのです。
しかし・・三谷幸喜って泣き虫なんですなぁ〜。
お似合いの夫婦といえるでしょう。

『筆を折った』と聞いていたのでまた小林聡美さんの
文章に再び出会えたのは嬉しい限りです。

ユーモラスな文体なのにどこかドライでカラリとした
印象がありますが、それがまた気持ちがいいです。

梅雨時期の通勤電車でサラリと読むのに丁度いいかも！
