単行本編にも投稿しているため敢えて着目点を変えるが
主人公、桐生に追い込み取り立てられる側は怖すぎる、正に冷血漢。
２枚目でお金も女性も何不自由ない玉城が桐生のターゲットになり落ちていく
様が前編の内容だが「他人事でよかった」これが本音だ。（格好悪いけど）。

すごいです。
描写がすごくて、途中でちょっと気分が悪くなりました。
金のためなら命も狙う富樫組若頭の桐生、そしてエステサロンのトップセールスマンの玉城、対極にいるような二人ですが、なぜか接点ができて…。
読みながら、「こりゃ地獄だな」なんてつぶやいてしまいました。。。
本当の新堂作品をお探しの方、本作はおすすめです。

闇金融を営む暴力団の若頭である主人公・桐生保の冷酷非情さ、彼の少年時代の家庭環境の凄まじさ、闇金融業者のえげつなさなどが、オブラートにくるむことしない筆致で描かれている。この描写に嫌悪感を覚える人も多いと思うが、私はこれこそがこの著者の魅力であると思う。

ストーリー自体も理不尽さの連続で、世の中には神も仏もないと言うような展開を見せる。上巻を読んだだけでも、金を借りることの恐ろしさが身に染みてくる。多重債務者救援組織が、この作品を推薦図書に指定するのも良いのではないかと思うような内容である。
