　日本でバラバラになってしまった家族が中南米のG国で再会する。段々と家族としての感覚を取り戻していくが、そんな中クーデターが勃発する。しかもそのクーデターはいわゆるクーデターとはどこかが違っていた。またまた家族は離れ離れになってしまい、それぞれ苦難の道を歩むことになる。
　それぞれが命を懸けてクーデターという異常事態を生き抜いていく中、子供は人生について、大人は家族の大切さについて学ぶ。
　また、それぞれが死と向き合いながら成長していく。
　読んでいたらいつの間にかハマって、主人公の練と一緒に冒険しているかのような感覚になる。
　１冊が150頁程度なため、気軽に手に取ることができる。１日に１冊づつ、６日間の冒険に出てみてはどうでしょうか。

１年に渡って出版されて最終巻まで出揃っています。
バラバラの家族が父親の働く南米に遊びに来て、クーデターに巻き込まれるというところから物語は始まりました。
小説のタイトルもなんだろうと考えさせるもので、読むと何が上と外なのかわかります。
私にとってこの小説はロールプレイングゲームでした。

気がつけば、主人公の練になりきって一緒に冒険をしていたような気がします。
この小説って本当にゲームに出来そうな感じがします。
１日１冊軽く読めます。
１週間で冒険を味わってみてはいかがですか？

テレビで、ベネズエラのギアナ高地のテーブルマウンテンを見ました。
小説に描かれていたあのシーン、このシーンが
目の前に浮かんで、テレビの映像とオーバーラップ。
あらためて、
恩田さんの筆力に瞠目させられました。

これくらい、想像力を刺激する本はちょっとないよ。
そして、これくらい、破天荒な話もない。

気持ちいいくらいスケールが大きくて、わくわくします。
