この作家の「スイッチを押すとき」に今までにない設定と少なからず感動したので、期待して読んだのですが、先ず読後の後味の悪さは今まで読んだどの本よりも酷いものでした。誰が何のために、こういう設定にしたのか、犯人？（作家？）の意図が全く判らず、ただ単に惨いものを見せ付けられた感じがします。例えるなら「ただ惨く、人を殺す事だけを楽しむロールプレイングゲーム」かな。特に１５才以下の方には絶対に読んで欲しくない、、と痛切に感じます。害があっても得るものなしです。

「部屋を出るには友達を一人殺さなくてはいけない」
そんな本の表紙にわくわくしながら買って読みました。正直言ってつまらないです。
ただ単に人が死んで、扉が開き、進んで、また部屋が…の繰り返し。
残された人間は徐々に減り、残された人間は何をすべきなのかもっと書くべきなのではないでしょうか。

この仕組みを作った組織や伏線は？
少しくらいその何かを思わせる様な描写は？
トビラに書かれているDの本当の意味は？
あの8人が選ばれた理由は？


何もかもが中途半端です。読み終えてイライラした本は初めてです。
千幾ら払って読むものではないと思います。
