菊治 自己チュー過ぎ。
冬香 母親の自覚無さすぎ。
渡辺淳一って、ただのエロ爺じゃん。っていうか、世の中の爺は、セックスの時「いいわ、あなた…」と言われたいんですか?

留置所や拘置所で自慰行為に及ぶなんて、認識力無さすぎです。

上巻と同じく下巻も抱腹絶倒です。
これが映画化されて試写を見た作者は、これが愛の世界だと感動し
随喜の涙が漏れたそうです。
かような作者をして書かれた小説は、読者をして
馬鹿馬鹿しさの極地に遊ばせてくれ、
読後は新しいうちに新古書屋に売れるという利点もあります。

愛するあまり、性行為のさなかに冬香の首を絞め、殺してしまった菊治。下巻はその法廷劇が中心の構成になっています。
上巻の溺れる様な性描写は少し影を潜めますが、裁判で殺人罪なのか、嘱託殺人かをめぐって証人を立てたり、証拠品としてボイスレコーダーを聞かせたり、はたして、こんなやり取りを長々と書くことに意味があるのでしょうか？クラブのママのラストの手紙もなんだか、不自然で説得力に欠けました。こんなことを書くと、「お前は性の真の悦びを知らない女だ」と、渡辺先生に叱られそうですが。
菊治の小説に見向きもしなかった出版社が、殺人者になった途端出版を申し出て、次々に増刷を重ねていく、そのあたりが唯一面白かったです。
