映画「かもめ食堂」でのはいりさんも良かったですが
このエッセイもすばらしいです。平易な文章でありながら、比喩の巧みさと
心情描写の深さがいいです。何回も読み返すと思います。

片桐はいりといえば、やたらエラの張った個性派女優。
いままでなぜ！文章を書いていなかったのかと思うほど面白い。
行動が面白いし、それを皮肉の聞いた比喩でうまく表現する力がすごい。
フィンランドでのファームステイのエピソードなんて
おなかを抱えて笑いました。
もっともっと書いて欲しい！と思える作家が誕生した気がします。

片桐はいりさんというと、やっぱりインパクトのある容姿がすぐ頭に浮かびます。
でも初エッセイだという本を読んでびっくり。すっごく聡明な方なんですねえ。
女優さんにありがちな自己顕示欲の強いいやらしさがぜんぜん感じられなくて、文章が本当にお上手だと思いました。
「かもめ食堂」撮影の舞台裏や各国のマッサージの話など、いろいろ笑わせてもらいました。
自分ではまずこんなふうに旅ができないので、なおさら。
北欧っぽいカバーも可愛いです。
