毎日を丁寧に生きて、凛としているサチエ、
悩みを抱えながらも前に進むミドリ、
やっと自分の時間を楽しみ始めたマサコ、
それぞれに共感し、その人間臭さを愛しく感じ、
何だかじんわりとくる、静かで温かな映画です。

この映画を見終えた後で、本を読んでみると、なるほど納得。
三人の背景がもう少し詳しく分かり、
だからサチエはこうで、ミドリはああで、マサコはそうなんだ、と発見できます。
その後もう一度映画を見ると、三人への感じ方が少し変わっていたりもして、また面白い。

本だけだと、少し物足りないかも、ということで、星４つ。
映画とセットなら星５つです。

映画では説明されきれなかった部分が
丁寧に書かれていて、
映画を見た後に？？？が飛びまくっていた方に
ぜひおすすめ。

映画の雰囲気はそのままなので、
どっちのファンも両方堪能されたらいいな、と思いました。

映画の世界観がとても心地よくて、どうしても原作が読みたくなった。映画では語られない登場人物の背景が、原作で軽く触れられている。景色や心理描写もさらりとしているので、淡々とテンポ良く進む。そしてクスクスとした笑いも。「人間色々かかえてんのよ」「人生すべて修行」そんなテーマが見えるけれど、決して押し付けがましくなくて、読後感がとてもいい。私の大好きな世界観だ。映画を先に観ると、小林聡美、片桐はいり、もたいまさこさんがいかにしっくりくる配役かわかる。もしくはこの三人をイメージして書いたのではないか？とさえ思えてくる。
