私がこの本を手にして、真っ先に読んだのは、
自分がこの世に生を受けた日の言葉でした。

それは「初春」でした。

で、次に見たのは、息子の誕生日の言葉。

「破天荒」

ガクッ！
荒くれ者とは、これまた縁起でもない・・・と思いきや、
「破天荒」の説明を読んでいくうちに、ニンマリ。
じつは、すごく良い意味だったんですね。

単に「常識破りの行動」という意味ではなく、
本来の意味は、
「今まで誰もできなかったことを成し遂げること」なんだそうです。

つまり、「破天荒」はヒーローを意味する言葉だったんですね。

我が息子の誕生日の言葉に、
こんなステキな言葉を選んでくださった夢子さんに感謝です！

本屋で手にとり、すぐレジに走ってしまいました。かなり厚めの本ですが、初めから終わりまで一気に読み終える本というよりも、気が向いた時にゆっくりと好きなページを開いて、その日の言葉を楽しむといった雰囲気です。４月１日から３月３１日まで、毎日違った言葉が書き綴られていて、日めくりカレンダーのような味わい方もありそうです。枕元に置いて、次の日の言葉を覚えたりするのもいいかもしれませんね。季節にぴったりと合った言葉を知ることが出来るので、手紙を書く時の参考にもなりそうです。意外と知らない言葉や、読めない言葉、書けない言葉など、様々な言葉が知ることが出来るのが楽しい一冊です。また、装丁も素敵で、堅苦しくなく、たおやかで、そして可愛らしくなっています。いずれにせよ、日本語の乱れが指摘されている今日この頃においては、とっても重宝しそうないい一冊が生まれたなと思いました。

３６５日、毎日が素敵な言葉で、いっぱい
日本語には、こんなに美しい言葉がたくさんあるんですね
表紙絵・挿絵・紙質・内容ともに心安らぐ一冊
毎日の美人の言葉を胸に
一日一日を大切に生きて行きたいと
この本を手にして思いました
心の栄養剤として大切にしたい一冊です

音読は脳の活性化にも良いと言うことなので
毎朝、音読して脳の活性化
そして、毎日美しい言葉を胸に、今日一日を有意義に生き
心の美しい人を目指そうと思います
