　小林氏が本シリーズを通じたメッセージは一環している。
日本人として、国際社会の中でどう生きるかだ。
戦争論を通して語られるテーマは
自分のことは自分で考えろ。
自国文化に対して大きな誇りを持て。
マスコミや根拠のない情報に惑わされるな。
ということだ。
日本もアメリカ並みの全体主義が蔓延する中で、
意見を述べることすら恥ずかしい風潮にある。
しかも、よりもっと危惧すべきは大東亜戦争に関して
何ら意見を個々人が持っていないことにある。
本作の内容・小林氏の意見が正しいとか、間違っているとか
を述べることは評論家でない私にはどうでも良い事だ。
しかし、大東亜戦争における先人を教訓として
欧米人に対してどう対処して生きていくかの指針になると思う。
必ずしも性悪説ばかりではないはずだ。
本作において筆者に対して評論家的な言葉遊びは無用だ。
読後、読者がどう感じて、どう行動するか、それだけだと思う。

本書を読み　初めて世界の大きな歴史の流れが理解できた
学校の世界史の教科書はなんと浅はかだったのだろうか。

白人の恐ろしさがまさかここまでだったとは思いませんでした。欧米諸国・・・今想えば全ての災害の起源はここから始まった戦争から原爆から共産主義から全てね・・・
