「けっ、あんな軟派な男はキライだね」という人にオススメします。
とかく美少（青）年に描かれがちな光源氏の君ですが、まろは栗なので素直に読みすすめることができますよ（笑）
国文科出身者としては内容も気になるところでしたが、もう「素晴らしい！」の一言。
下手に原文を暗唱させるより、いい古典の授業ができるかもしれません。

マンガ形式になっているので、小学生でも楽しめると思います♪

　ちゃんと読んだことはなくても、誰もが知っている･･･。源氏物語って不思議ですよね。わたしもいつかは読もうと、ず~と思っていましたが、何だか気おくれして読んでいませんでした。そんな時出会ったのがこの本です。表紙に大掴源氏物語と書かれてあるのに惹かれて、すぐに買いました。内容はといえば、それがすごいんです。マンガでこの物語を表現しているのですが、お話はわかり易いし、登場人物の衣装が細かいところまできちんと描かれているし、要所々々に人物系図や官位表などもあったりして、物語を２倍も３倍も楽しませてくれます。人々を魅了してきた源氏物語に対する期待をぜんぜん裏切らない内容でした。それどころか、源氏物語ってこんなにおもしろかったんだ！というのが、わたしの感想です。そして、最後まで読んで、光源氏が大好きになりました。時間をかけて、ここまですてきな本を世に出してくださった著者の小泉吉宏さんには、ほんとに感謝です。とってもとっても楽しませていただきました。

私は源氏物語が好きで与謝野訳・瀬戸内訳など読みましたが、それに劣りません！　原作にとても忠実です。これ１冊読んでいればちょっと「源氏」が語れます。
