面白いエピソードがつまった本です。中でも第６章で取り上げられている映画「魔人ドラキュラ」のスペイン語バージョンのエピソードが印象に残ります。著者のスカル氏は、英語版の撮影が済んだあと、同じセットを使って夜間に撮影されたスペイン語版を高く評価しています。この本を読んでしばらくして、ＮＨＫ　ＢＳ-２で両方のバージョンを放送したので、比較しながら見ました。スカル氏に影響されて、スペイン語版びいきになる人も多いでしょう。
