確かに筆者のいうとおり、書く技術は、「稼ぐ」「出世する」「転職する」ために、日増しに重要になってきていると感じる。けれどこの本は残念ながら、書く技術の重要性を説くばかりで、具体的なノウハウを体系的に公開するものではない。またワンペーパーにまとめるためには、情報処理技術が必要と説いているが、ワンペーパーに必ずしもまとめる必要はないわけで（説明する相手や時と場合によると私は思う）、筆者の強い思い込みや私見が多いと感じてしまう。書くこと、そして書くための考える技術を知識とノウハウとして体系的に獲得し、実務に役立てるのであれば、「考える技術・書く技術」（バーバラ・ミント）の方がいい。

この本を手に取った人の半数はワンペーパーの効果を既に知っており、副題の
「たった一枚にまとめる技術」を身につけたい読者でしょう。
繰り返し必要性とノウハウを訴えているだけ。
ノウハウを紹介するならきちんと事例をもって検証しないと。

現代のビジネスマンにはてっとり早い事例集があればいい。

要するに1枚に紙でまとめる技術を身につけましょうという内容。その方法論にまでは踏み込んでいない。
だから題名だけ見ればこの本を読んだことになるといっても過言ではない。
