巷に溢れかえるスキンケア法とスキンケア商品の情報の渦の中で「何がホントウで何がウソなのか」を皮膚科医の立場から、一刀両断、確信に満ちた語り口でいともあっさりと答えてくれた。信じて良い。と思わせてくれた。なんとなくこれがよさそう、と言ったあいまいな判断で商品や方法を選択しがちだったが、これからは迷いなく選べそうだ。素人判断で、雑誌、テレビ等で紹介される化粧品をいちいち試す必要もなくなり、この本でそのような「無駄」を省けるという意味でも、この本は非常に安い（お買い得）。具体的な商品をあげてもらえればもっと嬉しい、という点で星４つ。

タイトルに引かれて購入しましたが、書いてある内容は他の方がおっしゃるように目から鱗です。こんなにもはっきりと言っていいのかしら？というくらい、端的に、また例えも交えてばっさり切るという感じです。でも、いかにそれが世間（CMや雑誌など）のセールストークに踊らされているか、今後のスキンケア選定に大変役立つ本となりそうです。現に化粧品を見直して肌の調子もよくなっているので、役立つ本となっています。

洗顔は頬から洗っちゃいけない、乾燥するから保湿が必要なのではない、美白効果を謳った化粧品に必ずしも美白成分は含まれていない、など肌トラブルに関する対処法が専門家の立場から具体的に、科学的に説明されていて、目からウロコがボロボロ！でした。自分自身、化粧品を扱って10年以上になりますが、お肌のため、と思って毎日せっせとしてきたことが、返って肌に負担をかけていた部分があったと知りました。今日からもっときれいになれるぞ♪
