漫画はとても読みやすい。
こういうのをコミックエッセイというのかな。
とにかくすんなり内容が頭に入った。
疲れているときにパラパラと読む本にはもってこいだ。

私も１０年近く銭湯通いしていたので、内容に共感が持てる。
いまだ旅先で地元の銭湯に入ることを楽しみにしている。

お風呂のない家で育った著者の人柄は、他の著書にいい味として反映されているように思える。

軽快なタッチで、著者の銭湯通い生活を振り返り
書いています。面白いです。色々な人間模様（特に女性）が
見られる。

赤ちゃんのときから20代半ばまで銭湯通いをしていただけあってリアルな銭湯エッセイ。含み笑いに、爆笑にと、愉しい本でした。
銭湯が生活の一部で特別な場所でなかった時代
スーパー銭湯が登場していない時代
子供は大人と密接な裸のつきあいを通じて成長していたんだなって思った。
「ええお湯やったよ〜」と交わされる挨拶も「ええお湯ってどんなお湯？」って悩む気持ちも、微笑ましくて笑ってしまいました。
「奥さんちょっと流そうか」と、互いの負担を考慮しながらの背中の流し合い
男湯女湯で新婚さんが声を掛け合って一緒にあがるが、熟年になるともはや一緒に銭湯へ行かないなど・・・
挿入されてるマンガとエッセイが面白くあっという間に読んでしまった。
