　2005年にカッパ・ノベルスとして出たものの文庫化。
　水乃サトル学生シリーズの第３作。
　二階堂氏は手塚マニアとしても有名で、ファンクラブの第二代会長を務めたほどであったという。本書には、その知識が詰め込まれており、読むだけで圧倒されてしまう。手塚ファンには嬉しい一冊なのではないだろうか。ただ、残念ながら私は手塚作品にはあまり関心がないので、存分に楽しむということはできなかった。
　ミステリとしては、それなりの出来ではないだろうか。ストーリーからして納得できない点も残るが、この本の場合、動機はこれじゃないとダメなので、仕方ないのだろう。意外な結末ではある。
　どちらかというと、マニアの世界、稀覯本の世界を楽しむべき一冊だろう。
