さすが!川上弘美氏!!!!!この人でないとできないアンソロジー!
このシリーズは唯川惠さんも出していてそれはそれですごく珠玉だったが、
これは川上さんらしい不思議ワールドテイストをのぞかせる作品ばかり。
そもそもこれは恋愛物語に入るのか?と突っ込む前に、もう気づいたらそれぞれの作品に没頭している。
恋愛＝男女の出会いから始まって･･･とやや固くなっていた自分の頭がほぐれていきながら、
どの作品も強烈な印象を残していきます。
恋愛をするのが所詮命ある生き物(人間も含め)がすることであるからこそ、
それは生きることの上に成り立っているのだとあらためて痛感。
恋愛をその人の生き様であるから。
そして自分の今までの読書範囲がものすごく狭かったと感じます。
そして車谷長吉さんの作品も読むようになりました。

最近、おとなの恋心についての本を読んだ。
好きな作家が編んだアンソロジーである。
９本の短編小説が収められていて、どれも、恋にかんするような、あるいはそういった心もちに似たような状況を語ったものだ。好きな作家が好きな作品というものを読んでみたいと手にした本だったが、正直なところ、ここしばらく、「恋愛小説」という分野は苦手だったため、少し躊躇した。

しかしながら、この本は違っていた。
いわゆる恋愛小説というと、男と女が出逢って、片方か両方が好意を持って、その後ふたりの関係について云々と書かれていくものを連想した。
しかしながら、この本は違っていた。
もちろんそういった話もあるのだが、大部分はそうでもない。例えばそこに淡々と書かれているのは、カブトムシの短い生涯と、そのカブトムシをこどものようにかわいがる夫婦の話であったりする。また他の場合では一見いわゆる恋愛小説かと思いきや、最後の土壇場であっという間にそうではない結末に視点をずらされる。

そうは言っても「恋愛小説」と言われると、そのような気もしてくる。
そんな本だ。

案外、おとなの恋心というものは、単に男と女が出逢って片方か両方が好意を持ってその後ふたりの関係について云々、というものでもないのかもしれぬ。

川上弘美選の恋愛小説アンソロジー
一体、どこが恋愛なんて、思うのは、冬ソナに浮かれた熟女だろうか。
それとも、愛ルケでボケ気味の中年男だろうか。

それにしても、グロテスク。人間の業、丸出しの生き方。
そういうことが恋愛なんだと、言い切る弘美先生は、すごいなあ。

全部で８作。
まず、車谷長吉の「武蔵丸」
出だしが良いよね。もう引退した横綱「武蔵丸」。
いきなり武蔵丸が死んだ。
なんて、殺さないでよと思ったら、カブトムシだった。
よしもとばななの「とかげ」
こちらも、すごいで出だしだ。
「彼女をとかげと呼ぶ」
ばななさんの文章をはじめて読んだが、”うまい”
坂口安吾や野坂昭如を久し振りに読む。
やっぱり充実した短編集だ。
