なんとなく駅の売店で買ったんですが、なかなか面白い短編集でした。
短い中にも著者の持つ、臭いが感じられて他にも読んでみようと思い、現在のんびり著者の他の本を読んでいる所です。
一つ一つ見ていくと、もう少し肉付けがあったほうが面白いかなと思いますが、短編集としてはよくまとまっていたかなと思います。

　1999-2002年に発表された13の短編が収められている。
　いずれも恐怖小説である。生理的な嫌悪感を掻き立てるような作品が多く、読み終わったときにはげっそりしてしまう読者も少なくないだろう。特に人肉食にまつわる話が多いのには、ぞっとさせられた。
　文章力、構成力には確かなものがあり、こういうのを求める読者には嬉しい一冊だろう。
　しかし、苦手な人にはひたすら苦痛だろう。私は、もう倉阪鬼一朗はギブアップだ。
