　鮎川哲也監修、芦辺拓編集の「本格推理マガジン」の第２弾。
　今回の特集は、「ぼくらの推理冒険物語」ということで、少年少女向けの推理小説が集められている。
　収録されているのは、江戸川乱歩「まほうやしき」、「ふしぎな人」、「名たんていと二十めんそう」、「かいじん二十めんそう」、高木彬光「吸血魔」、鮎川哲也「空気人間」、「呪いの家」、「時計塔」、河島光広「ピリーパック−狼人間の巻」。
　乱歩はともかく、高木氏や鮎川氏が子ども向けの作品に手を染めていたことは、あまり知られていない。単行本化されていない作品も多く、ほとんどは入手不可能だった。その意味では、非常に貴重な仕事といえよう。
　ただ、まあ内容としてはあまり評価できるものではない。とはいえ、きちんと挿絵も収録されており、雰囲気は良く伝わってくる。昔、少年雑誌を読んでいた人などは、懐かしいと感じるのかも知れない。
　ビリーパックは探偵ものの漫画。愉快な話だ。
