私がテレビで「スクールウォーズ」を見たのは子どもの時でした。はっきりした年は覚えてませんが、何度も再放送され、友達と「テレビ見た？」と熱く（？）語り合った記憶があります（DVDがアマゾンで買えます）。

この本はドキュメンタリーの「スクール・ウォーズ」です。だからドラマのような誇張した表現もないし、淡々とこの奇跡を綴っています。でも、読んでいて何度も涙がこみ上げてきました。
「信は力なり」と「one for all, all for one」という言葉がいつでも心に甦ります。

映画化されると聞きました。

プロジェクトｘにも取り上げられた「泣き虫先生と落ちこぼれ軍団の奇跡」、どのような映画になるのでしょうか？

教育のあり方、教師と生徒のあり方、テレビドラマよりか、このドキュメンタリーよりか分かりませんが、映画化の成功を願ってやみません。
映画を楽しみに待っています。映画の前に後に、この本を手にとってもらいたいと思います。

僕は、テレビドラマの｢スクールウォーズ｣を見て、ラグビーを初めて高校、大学とラグビーをやっていました。
今年の秋に映画がやるということで原作を読んでみたくて（映画は原作が違うようですが）この本を読みましたが、本当に感動をしました！
まさに信は力なり、信じれば奇跡は起きるんですね。
山口先生の他の作品も是非読んでみたいと思います。

ドラマを先に見てからこの本を読んだのですが、あのドラマってかなり原作に忠実に作られていたんだなあと思いました。特にイソップが実在の人物だと知ったときの驚き！本書を読み進めるうちに、ドラマのエピソードが脳裏に浮かび、新たな感激に浸れること請け合いです！
