　霞流一はその独特なユーモアとパロディ精神溢れる独特の作風で特異な地位を築いた作家であろう。本作で作者は徹底的にパズラーにこだわりを見せており、必要な条件を際だたせ、極めてシンプルに必要最小限に情報を提示している。そのため、推理クイズとしてはともかくエンターテイメントとしては、いささか物足りないものとなってはいるといえるかもしれない。しかしこの作品は、繰り返されるバカミス的な推理を純粋に楽しむべき作品であろう。

ひとつの短編にひとつの殺人事件が…
という形式をとった連続短編集。
ギミックの効いた(バカミス度満載な)事件を
次々解決していって…
最後には大きな仕掛けとどんでん返しが!!

ちょっと単調で、バカバカしくはあるのですが、
短編として、｢力ずく｣で押し切られると…
グウの音も出ません。お手上げです。

相変わらずのバカミス顕在に、かなり嬉しくなります。

◆「第一〜四首」



◆「第五首　人の死に行く道は」

　　教会の礼拝堂の屋根にあった十字架に被害者が
　　磔にされ、鉄条網に逆さに、ぶら下げられていた。


　　神父が、十字架に異状がないことを確認した、わずか
　　十分後に、前述の奇怪な情景が現出したというのだが……。　　



　　「困難は分割せよ」という原理の実践。十字架の処理がポイント。



◆「第六首　天は風を見すてたか」

　　これまでに起きた六地蔵事件が舞台化されたのだが、開幕を翌日に控えた日
　　に、風峰役の俳優が、舞台に設営された密室状態の「箱」の中で殺害された。

　　死因は頭部強打によるもので、凶器は〈天上〉の地蔵の首だった……。



　　演者の立ち位置を示す「ばみり」のテープ
　　をもとに、さまざまな仮説が展開されます。

　　冒頭にぬけぬけと張られた、トリックの伏線に注目。



◆「第無々首　奈落の底の底」

　　連作長編という形式ならではのどんでん返し。

　　各話で展開されたバカミス的解決に、まったく別の意味が
　　付与されることで、くすぶっていた違和感が解消されます。
