ひとりじめする時期は必ず来ます。かわいい絵が子ども心を惹きつけて、内容的にも子どもにわかりやすいものだと思います。内心、「あなたみたいね」と思いつつ、「こういう子いるよね。」と第三者の立場にたって子どもに話しかけながら読みました。「うーん。」と子どもなりに考えてる様子。ひとりじめしちゃいたい時、ひとりじめしちゃった時、この本を思い出して、友達の気持ちを考えてくれるといいなと思って読み聞かせていました。

人の持っているものが気になって、何でも片っ端から「貸して！貸して！」と
取り上げてしまっていた4歳の息子に、読み聞かせようと思って購入しました。

手に取るとまずはその絵に惹きこまれてしまいました。
いもとようこさんの描く動物たちの、かわいらしい表情。
鮮やかな真っ赤なりんごのおいしそうなこと。

元気いっぱい、自由気ままに（自分勝手でもあるのだけれど）
動き回るこぐまくんは、まるで息子の姿そのもの。
何でもひとりじめして結局周りに誰もいなくなってしまった
こぐまくんを見て、息子が「ひとりじめしちゃいけないんだよ」
なんて言いましたが、「どこかの誰かさんみたいだねぇ」と
私が言うと「ぼくはちゃんとわけっこできるよ！」と（笑）

読み終えた後、ちゃんとわけっこできる子になったかというと・・・
決してそういうわけではないんですが（笑）
でも、心の中にはちゃんと、自分にそっくりな身近なお友達こぐまくんが
いて、時々妹と楽しそうに「みんなで食べると、おいしいね！」なんて
笑い合っています。
