この本は、宇野千代が小説が書けなくなったスランプの時期に蘇るきっかけとなった天風先生のことを伝えたくて、天風先生の座談の内容を著したものです。天風先生が自分の目の前で語りかけているように、その息吹が感じとれるような座談の内容です。力強い言葉と優しい心根が、落ち込みがちの心に響き、明日への勇気が蘇りました。

天風先生は、からだがほんとうに辛いとき、
「元気溌剌だったときのからだを基準に考えるのではなく、
辛く苦しいこのからだが、本来のすがたなんだ」
と考えられました。
病を乗り越える智慧を授けてくれる一冊です。

強く生きる事
言うのは容易いが、実行するとなると、誰もが出来る事ではない
幼い頃からの、さまざまな体験を通して、辿り付いた生き方
流されて生きないが為の、日々の堅実な生き方
事件、病気にも打ち勝つ、強い精神力が、より良く生きるための最大の武器だと思いました
分かりやすい言葉で、中村天風の入門としては、最適な本だと思います
