　著者は不運にも白血病、脳腫瘍、全盲と困難な病気に冒されるが、周囲の人々の愛に支えられ、本を書こうとする。テープに録音した内容をワープロで文章化し、文章をスキャナで読み取って推敲をする、こうして一冊の本が誕生した。視力を失っても本を書き、研修のインストラクタの仕事も再開している。明日の事は何が起こるか誰もわからないけれど、精一杯努力することで、夢が実現できるのだと読者に優しく語りかける。

　困難な病気を乗り越えて視力を失った状態で本の原稿を仕上げた著者の努力は素晴らしいと思う。著者を支えている周囲の暖かい心は読者の心に愛を教えてくれ、その愛に感謝する著者は次第に生命の光を放つように生き生きと輝き始める。著者が研修インストラクタへ復帰できたのも、その生命力の賜物だと思う。そして夢は実現できると私達に語ってくれる。読後、爽やかな生命の息吹を感じた。

　現代の医学では治療の難しい病気に冒されても、前向きに生きようとする著者の生きる姿勢は、現代社会に生きる人々に新たな勇気と励ましのメッセージを与えてくれます。
たとえハンディがあっても夢を諦めずに努力を惜しまなければ、いつかは夢は実現するものだと体験を通して語りかける著者。

今をどう生きるかによって、私達の未来が輝かしい希望の光で満ち溢れたものになるのだと痛感しました。
