確かに難易度は高いですが、解説がとても詳しいです。ポレポレよりもレベルは上ですが解説はこちらのほうが詳しく、回答の訳も受験生でも太刀打ちできるレベルなので十分対処できるでしょう。これを仕上げれば英文解釈はほとんど困らなくなると思います。

ごまかしのない解説頭がすきっりします。ポレポレ英文読解をやった後にこれをやるといろいろなところが整理できてよいと思います。単語の注釈も多いし、大変勉強しやすい本だと思います。省略、倒置こんなに丁寧に説明されているのは感動です。難しい文章だというレビューも多いですが、解説が理解できれば、繰り返し読み込むことによって力が付くのではないかと思います。是非にお勧めです。

英文読解の根幹となる複文構造、５文型、準動詞、関係詞、否定・同格・倒置の理解があってこそはじめてその良さが実感できる本だと思います。よく受験生の中には自分の理解出来ない参考書をすぐ悪書と断言する人がいますが、そのような人はおそらくその本を使うだけの実力が備わってないだけだと思います。要するに使用時期、順序に根本的な誤りがあるのだと思われます。従ってこの「透視図」を悪書で終わらせないためにも先に述べた機能文法を確実に自分のものにする必要があります。具体的には機能文法習得の為には水王舎刊「出雲博樹読解英文法」、その次のステップとして代々木ライブラリー刊『西きょうじポレポレ英文読解プロセス５０」がおすすめできます。それらを完璧にした後初めて生きてくる本といえます。
