中学校に勤務する者ですが、
１年ほど前に読み、大いに参考にさせてもらいました。

本書の事例は小学校のものが中心であり
風土のちがいもあって
自分の職場で生かすには、それなりのアレンジが必要になりますが
根本的な考え方では共感できる部分が多かったです。
（部分的には、自分とは意見の合わないところもありましたが）

本の構成は、項目ごとに
・新卒時代の失敗事例
・その後の対処と実践のポイント
というスタイルになっており
読みたいところから見ることができます。
内容も簡潔で、教師であれば具体的な場面が容易に思い浮かぶと思います。

おもに若い方向けの書き方になってはいますが
中堅以上の人でも参考にできる部分はあると思います。
私もこの本からヒントをもらって
現場でのさまざまな出来事に対して
自分なりの対処法を色々と考え出すことができました。

気に入ったので、思わず職場の先生方にも紹介してしまいました。
押しつけになっていなければいいのですが…とにかくオススメです。

私自身の新卒時代を思い出しました。
同じような苦労は誰でも経験していると思います。
トラブルになったとき，どう対応するかは，経験がものをいいます。
でもこの本をあらかじめ読んでおけば，ずいぶんと対応が違ってくるのではないかと思います。

とても具体的なエピソードで，わかりやすかったです。
若い教師や教師を目指す学生に読んでもらいたい本です。

私は小学校の先生ではないのですが，体験談をもとに書かれていたのでとても読みやすく，どんどん読んでしまいました。やんちゃな子など，「ああ，そうやって接すれば良いのか」と共感する部分が多かったです。
この本を読んで，こんな先生に担任をしてもらいたいと思いました。失敗もきちんと受け止め，反省し，改善しようとする素直な先生であると思ったからです。誠実さが伝わってきて，保護者としても信頼できるなと思いました。
今第１子が小学校に入学したばかりで，これから小学校で頑張っていってくれるか不安ですが，担任の先生にもこの本を読んでもらいたいなと思いました。
