ラ・スペコラ博物館の蝋細工解剖学模型の写真集は、２種類発刊されている。
1つは、タッシェンから発刊の「解剖百科（原著：Encyclopaedia Anatomica）」。
私は「バロック・アナトミア」より「解剖百科」のほうが好み。
理由を一言でいえば、「解剖百科」には、生命力を感じるから。
ここが「バロック・アナトミア」とは正反対なのだ。

そして、この「バロック・アナトミア」。
見事なまでに大腸を引っぱり出されて横たわる乙女。
その大腸ににじり寄って、足元から撮った一枚は・・・絶品。
やはり、これは「美しい」としか言いようがない。スプラッター好きな人など、たまらんでしょう。

「バロック・アナトミア」は撮影条件が悪く、「カーテンは閉めたまま」「撮影用ライトは無し」等々、様々な制約を設けられた中で撮られたという。そのため、暗かったり、ボヤけていたり、逆光だったり、部分のみの接写だったりする。
つまり、どこから見ているのか、どこの部分なのか、全体はどうなっているのか等々、よくわからない写真が多い。
それが思いがけず「画的な美しさ」を生み出し、かえって芸術性を高めている部分もあるのだろうが、やはり私としては、見たいのに見えないジレンマを押さえられない。

この本は、ひとことで言うと「グロテスクの美学」。
帯にも「死の匂いを湛えた濃厚なエロティシズム」とあるように、死への憧憬すら感じる。ある意味、非常に背徳的な作品集。
なんとなく、しょっちゅう見たいとは思わない一冊だ。
見ていると、自分のベクトルが、どうも「死」に向かってしまう。
明日への活力は・・・決して湧いて来ない。（当然）
もちろん、嫌いじゃないんだけど。

色々と探ってたら出会った1冊で、買うまでに躊躇なく…で待ってましたが、やはり期待通りの1冊でした!!!!
何より載せられている作品は全て1つ1つが美しすぎるんです!
この様なジャンルの写真集は初めて手にしましたが、価値があると思います☆
しかも値段が安いですよ!!(笑)この出来でこの価格……やはり安いです!!!!(笑)
興味ある方にはすんなり受け入れられる写真集だと思います!グロイとか気持ち悪いとかではなく、掲載されている物は全て“芸術作品”だと思います!
出会えて良かった1冊です('∀`)

18世紀、欧州の古都の中でもひときわその美しさを誇るフィレンツェで、隠花のごとく開いた、あまりにも美しく妖しい、人体解剖標本蝋細工模型。
その美しさを抑えたトーンで見事に切り取った写真集です。
美少女の解剖模型に心を揺すぶられない人はいないと思います。
一人でこっそりと、開いてみてください。
