でかい本です。画集なので大きければ大きいほどいいと思います。ギーガーのファンなので掲載されている作品等にはもちろん問題はありませんが、レイアウトやデザインはあんまり良くないですね。作品だけを載せた堅苦しい画集でもいいのではないかと思いました。ただ、表紙も中身も黒が貴重なので傷や指紋なんか直ぐに付着してしまうし、目立ってしまう紙質なのが凄く残念です。

自分が手に入れたのが10年以上も前のことだから，今更ながらに驚いている。
ネクロノミコンというタイトルを付けていることからもギーガーが，神話の世界に浸かっていることがうかがい知れる。
それにしても，ほぼモノトーンで描かれた世界の迫力はどうだろうか？
ページをめくるのでさえ，大変なほどの本なのだけれども，この大きさがなければ，この迫力は得ることができないのだ。
人前で堂々と見るには抵抗感もあるけれども，はまってしまう一冊だろう。
