手に取っただけで心地よい装丁。
箱は、開けば一枚の３つ折りの厚紙です。
そして昔の少女の靴下どめを連想する雰囲気を持つ青いゴムがかけてあります。
なにか、わくわくする装丁です。
内容は愛しい少女のお人形写真がいっぱい！　秋山まほこさんのファンならもちろん、
この作者にあまり興味のなかったかたにも、柔らかくあどけない表情のお人形達は
きっと何か語りかけてくるでしょう。チャーミングな本です。

少女がポーズ決めてるアンティークポストカードに彩色されましたという感じの写真集です。この場合、少女は人形なんですけどね。
ピンク・水色・黄色の三色で統一されています。
人形作家の写真集といえば、だいたいエロティシズムあふれた耽美的なものが多いのだけれど、これはあっさりとしています。まさに水色。

・・・その分読者を惹きつける魅力というものに欠ける気もするけど、びっしり写真が載っているし、値段も手ごろ、本のつくりも面白いし、けっこう、イイと、思います。

なんだか宝物のような、アルバムのような、そんな1冊でした。
写真で綴られたどこにもいない少年少女の物語、とでも言えば伝わるでしょうか。
最後の頁まで何度も何度も、夢中になって見てしまいました。
昼間よりは深夜、ベッドにもぐってこっそり読むに相応しい、そんな本です。
