大量生産の時代に息づいた20世紀のインテリアデザイン。その流れを作品で解説するお決まりのパターンではなく、それらの家具やテキスタイル、小物などをコーディネートして見せている点が好感。約250点にものぼる写真はそれだけでインテリアのプラン集としても使えそう。イームズやアアルト、ヤコブセンらのデザインが人気なのも納得。イームズの椅子が欲しいけど、ちょっと高くて買えないと思っている方、この本があればあなたの部屋も十分気持ちいい空間になりますよ。

この本、最高です。すべての写真にモダンレトロの精神が感じられ、
すごくかっこいい部屋ばかり。
小物もセンスがよくて1点づつこまかいところまでみてしまいます。
ほんと、かっこいいです。
modern retro tabletopという本とあわせると、モダンレトロ系写真集の最強タッグなのでは。

私の思っていたミッドセンチュリーとは違い、大人しい感じで残念でした。たくさんの部屋が紹介されているけど、全部同じようなイメージです。ただ単に私の好みと合っていないだけかもしれません。大人しめ（現実的な）のミッドセンチュリーがお好きな方にはおすすめです。
