大阪万博やアポロに胸躍らせた、昭和の未来派キッヅ必見。
怖くて、きれいで、かっこよくて、夢にまでみた、少年マガジン大図解の絵師の素晴しい作品集です。
大図解で知ったＳＦ作品や探偵小説を後で読んでどんなにがっかりしたか、それくらい当時のイラストは驚きに満ちていました。

紹介されている作品はほんの一部ですが、とにかく見て、驚いて、夢にて欲しい、そして当時の作品がもっと紹介されるようになって欲しいと切に願っております

4.0 out of 5 stars 少年の頃に覚えのある「毒気」と「甘美」の世界, 2004/8/3
40代なら誰もが覚えのある「絵」に「あっ！」と声を上げるに
違いない。そんな石原豪人氏の世界を手に入れることのできる
貴重な本です。

少年時代、目にした本…、何でもいい。少年マガジン、サンデー、
（さすがにジャンプという感じではない）少年画報、ぼくら、
これらの中にこの石原氏のイラストがあったことを、「五感」が
記憶しているのである。

何ともエロティックで、危険な香りのする彼の世界にあっという
間に引き込まれ、しばし抜け出れなくなってしまう。

紛れもなく、「大衆の中に生きた天才」であろう。

この人の描く「CG」を見てみたかった。

今にして思えば、こんな絵がついた図鑑が小学校の図書室にあったこと自体が信じられないのですが、私も「なぜなに学習シリーズ｣のトラウマ世代の一人です。
昭和４０年代生まれの人であれば、石原豪人という名前を知らなくても、このバタ臭い表情の究極のピンチに出会った人々の恐ろしい挿絵達を見れば、間違いなく身体が反応するはず！
先にも記した「なぜなに学習シリーズ」や「ジャガーバックスシリーズ」など、今となっては高値で取引される高級古書になってしまった、石原豪人の挿絵達がこんなにリーズナブルな価格で楽しめるのは奇跡です！！
また、挿絵ばかりが強烈なイメージを与えすぎて、なかなか作者石原豪人そのものを知る機会が無かったのですが、本誌では、在りし日の石原豪人その人の足跡がよくわかります。
バーストフューチャーというか、パワーのあった７０年代の未来予想図を再び感じさせてくれた一冊です！
