　デュラスの作品のなかでは比較的読みやすい作品では無いだろうか。
出版権を全て出版社に売り、まとまった財産を息子に残したい、とコメントしていたのを関連の本で読んだ記憶があり、虚実がいくぶん入り交じり、ヒットもキチンと狙った作品である。そんな野心的な作品ではある。あってもやはり感動してしまう。
　彼女は貧困に苦しみ、絶望感のただよう家庭から這い出るため、早く、大人にならなければならなかった。無理してでも。だから何があっても彼女の心は動かない。だって大人だから。　　　
　ラストの涙は象徴的だ。その涙で彼女は本当の“大人の女”になった。そう感じた。作品の権利を全て手放しても、その時着ていたワンピースの切れ端は絶対に手放さなかったという。デュラスにとって“彼”は愛していたかは定かではないが、それが示すとおり、ある種特別な関係だったのだと思う。この作品が単なる少女時代のスキャンダラスな性愛の告白本にならないのは、そこだと思う。
“彼”が電話をかけてくるシーンや、車の中から彼女を見送るシーンは、何度読んでも涙がにじむ。
時間が交錯し、分かりにくい部分もあり、なれないとスムーズには読めないかも。なので星を４つに。
それでも好きな本。仏語で読めたら良いのだけれど。
（蛇足だがコレを仏語版と独逸版と英語版で持っている強者を知っている。凄い。）

何度も観ました。せつなさだけが残ります。考えるだけで悲しい。映像も音楽も素敵です。一生でめぐり合えるうちのひとつの映画だと思います。共感できる人が少ないとは思いますが・・・。ふたりがリムジンの中で手を触れるところ、初めて経験する夜、嫉妬、せつない別れ、船の中で聴くショパンの音楽・・・涙がでます。どうか女の人に同じ気持ちを持ってくれる人がいたらぜひ直接会ってみたいです。

映画の「ラマンー愛人」が素晴らしかったので、早速、原作を購入！

原作は読みにくく、少し難解ですが、デュラス独特の美しい文体
に酔える！酔える！

サガン　フアンにもおすすめです。
