私はお料理が好きで料理本も沢山持っています。この本は友人に薦められて買ってはみたものの、実際に作ってみるまでは、炊飯器で料理なんてなんとなくめんどくさそうでイマイチ美味しくなさそうだなぁ~となかなか乗り気になれませんでした。でも、せっかく買ったからと作ってみて本当に驚きました！今まで散々お料理をしてきましたが、なんか拍子抜け。下ごしらえ（本当に切って味をつける程度）でお釜に材料を数品入れてスイッチ押すだけで同時に数種類のおかずが出来上がる！その上沢山使っていたお鍋なども不要なので洗い物が激減！！一番良かったのは、お味がとても良い事。炊飯器は、圧力釜のような物なので中までじっくり火が通っていてお肉もふわふわ。とっても柔らかいのです。二歳の娘も普段はお肉を食べてくれないのですが、炊飯器で作った鶏肉料理はウソみたいにパクパク、おかわりまで欲しがってくれました。また、炊き込みご飯、おかず、スープなどが同時にできて組合せも自分で自由に決められるのでお弁当などには最高です。仕事をしている方やお忙しい方には特にオススメですが、ヒマな方にも？超おススメの一冊です。凝ったお菓子も作れて（簡単に）、何から何まで炊飯器で作れてしまう事を知ってとても得した気分で一杯です。

基本的に一人分のレシピ。４人分なら４倍するの？吹きこぼれないの？
プディング一人前を容器に入れ炊飯器で蒸すなんて実際考えられないし
ワンプレートランチは家族レシピにはならないな…量的に炊飯器に入らないよ。その辺の事本のわかる所に明記しておいて欲しかった。５ページ目にちろって《この材料は基本的に一人前です》って基本的って何

一人分のレシピなので、独り暮らしの方や、一人分だけ作る（主婦の留守番日？）には、調理器具の片づけの手間なくワンプレートが作れて大助かりになることうけあいです。
他の本と比べて秀逸なのは、巻末の、材料別になっているインデックス。何かを作ろうとして材料を買いに行かなくても、家にある材料を見て、このインデックスからレシピにたどりつくことができ、とても便利です。
