最初は、たしか、経済セミナの別冊だったような気がする。
「レモンをお金にかえる法」と別の著者の「歯磨き作って億万長者」
を英語で読めば、経済学の英語が怖くなくなると思います。

私はサミュエルソンの経済学と、ある人の経済学の原理の２冊も英語で読みましたが、
「レモンをお金にかえる法」と「歯磨き作って億万長者」
のような平易な英語で書かれていることに驚きました。

日本で学術書は、難しい単語を羅列しますが、英語の専門書は、平易な単語で書かれている事が多い。この違いを、本書の英語版を読んで考えていただけるとありがたい。

小学生の頃からずっと本棚の一番目に付く所にあります。
レモネードが飲みたくなる本であり、私にとっては
今まで読んだどの本よりもわかりやすい経済学の本。
開くたびに新しい発見。進路をも決めてくれた、原点の一冊。
贈ってくれた父に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

全ての「ホモ・エコノミクス」にお勧め。
私が図書室においてあったこの本を初めて読んだのは小学生の時。
そして、十数年後この本の偉大さが分かりました。
経済学も「おはなし」になれるのです。
経済学部で大学院に飛び級できる成績をとれたのは本書のおかげ！
...かもしれない。

続編らしい
「レモンをお金にかえる法 続―インフレ・不況・景気回復の巻(2)」
もおすすめ。
