軽くスルスルと読めます。肩の凝らない新撰組小説です。
でもどこかよくある話に思えてしまうというか、
オリジナリティがないように感じました。
もちろん史実というのがあるわけで、それはしょうがないのですが、
ここに出てくる人間たちはどこか薄っぺらく、
都合よく動いている人形みたいに思えます。
少女漫画の空想みたいな。萌えの要素もあるところも
この作者ならではですが、中途半端な気がしました。
あと、源さんが死んでからの追想を書くというのは、
前に読んだ新撰組小説であったような気が。
捕物帖というのは一見新しい感じでしたが、
どうも展開がベタで、僕にはなじめなかったです。
特に泣かせがベタだったー！
若い作者なのに、ここまでベタというのが残念。
ある意味、安心感はあるのかもしれないですけど。
水戸黄門的な。
しっかり読み込む本ではないですが、
息抜きに読むというのならいいかもしれません。

秋山香乃先生が書かれる新撰組は、あまり新撰組を知らない人でも読みやすく、また想像しやすいと思います。今回の作品は、新撰組六番隊隊長井上源三郎が主役という他の作品でも珍しいのでは、ないのでしょうか。タイトル通りに、新撰組関係で起こった事件に源さんが足を突っ込む御節介話です（尾形風に言うとね）。土方に釘刺されの、局長の寛大さに感動しーの、久馬を可愛がりーの、尾形怒られーの、源さん大活躍。大河の影響が多いのでしょうか。大河好きの人には想像しやすい登場人物達でした。性格がそのままというべきか。この本を読んで、ますます源さんが好きに為りました

２時間くらいで読めました。キャラも「組！」がキャラそのままなのは、番組放送のあとに書かれたものだけに「これはいいの？」と思っちゃいましたけど。「組！」があってできた企画なのかな。捕物帖とはいえ、ミステリ要素はなしです。伏線もちゃんと繋がってない。でも、息抜きに読むのはいいと思います。ついこの間出た新撰組小説を読んで、それがずっしりお腹に染みた傑作だったので、私には物足りなかっただけかもしれません。けど、このくらいの薄めの内容だったら単行本で買うのは惜しい。この作者のは時代文庫が手軽ではまるかもしれませんね。
