中身はとてもシンプルで素敵な家具達です。

特にマガジンスタンドにひとめぼれしてこの本を買いました。

本をみてると、どうしてもマガジンスタンドが欲しくなって、
ホームセンターでこの本を片手に相談員にいろいろと聞きながら
つくってしまいました。
木取図があるので図面を書く必要もなく、初心者にもできました。

特にアーリーハッチの方の作る「この本の家具」は素敵です。
アーリーハッチ自体はアメリカンカントリー専門のようなのですが、
「この本のために作られた家具」はシンプルですごくイイです。
（私はアメリカンカントリー自体はパスなので・・・）

本全体としては、アジアンテイストの家具だけはちょっと浮いている
ような気がします。

　一時期すのこを使った家具の本が流行っていましたねぇ。（私も買いました、作ってないけど。）ちゃんと作って、その次のレベルに進みたいひとに最適な感じ。「木取図」というのが載っていて、洋裁の裁断図みたいに、どのサイズの板を何枚購入してこう切ったら準備出来ますよという構成なのがすごく親切だと思いました。これから出る本はこれを踏襲するんじゃなかろうか。載ってる家具も、実際使えそうな、センスの良いものだと思います。マガジンラックとかほんとに作りたい。写真が良いのはビジュアル主体の実用書の基本ですよね、その点も合格。
