雷の発生メカニズムや避雷方法など、大変やさしい言葉で書いてあり、図も多用してありますので非常に読みやすく読破できました。これから雷をよく知りたいと思っている中高生をはじめ一般の人にお勧めです。また雷に関する知識がこだわりを持って書かれていますので、電気系学生など専門的に学びたい人の入門書としてお勧めできます。内容は５２個のテーマが体系的にまとまっており、最初から読んでもいいのですが、１つのテーマごとにまとまっていますので、開いたところから読んだりもできました。どなたが読んでも満足度は高いと思います。
