対象は赤ちゃんから１０代まででしょうか。息子が産まれてすぐ、母が
私にくれたもので、今まで何度も読みました。
息子に当てはまる事は勿論ですが、将来的にもとても参考になる本だと
思います。

ダウン症児の親御さんや、ダウン症児を受け持つ幼稚園の先生からの
質問に答えていくという本で、違う立場に立って読むとまた勉強に

なります。私の大切な一冊です。

現在ダウン症が1人いるクラスの担任をしていますが、この本は、ダウン症を持っている保護者のためは勿論のこと、ダウン症児に今まで接したことがなく、戸惑っている幼稚園保育園教諭の方にとっても参考になるです。歯ぎしりや、トイレトレーニング、食べ物の好き嫌いなどについて、ダウン症の子どもにどうやって対処すれば良いか悩んでいたところ、この本を購入し、今までに悩んでいたほとんどのケースについてのアドバイスが書いてあることに驚かされました。この本を読んでから、ダウン症児に接する事に不安が無くなり、そればかりではなく、ゆっくりと待ってあげる保育ができる様になりました。

2001年にダウン症の真衣が生まれ、ダウン症に関するいろんな本を
購入しました。この本もそのうちの１冊です。
Q&A方式で書かれているため、読みたい項目がすぐ探せて重宝しました。
この本を買おうと思っておられる方、そしてこのレビューを読まれている
方の中には、当時の私のように「何でもいいから情報を！」「この子に
してやれる全てを教えてほしい！」と切望しておられる方もいらっしゃると思います。
私がかつてそうだったように。。。
真衣が生まれて５年経った今では、この本がどこにあるのかすら覚えて
いないのですが、５年前の複雑な思いがあったからこそ、今の幸せが
あるのだと思います。きっと、だいじょうぶ！！
