『ダビンチ・コード』以来この手の歴史ミステリーを読みあさってきたが、その中でも飛びぬけて面白くなかった（！！）。登場人物の個性が全く書き込まれておらず、いったい誰が物語りの中心人物なのか全くわからない。加えてストーリーの組立が下手。エンディングはかなり無理やり終わらせたという感じ。
もともと歴史的な謎が解明されていない「聖骸布」を題材としているため、フィクションとはいえ胡散臭さしか残らない。

残念ながら約1500円出すだけの価値は見出せなかった。

~「聖骸布、宗教の授業で習ったな~」と思い早速購入。
現代と過去が螺旋のように絡まる文章に引き込まれます。
イエスの言動はまるで見て来た様に書かれていて、聖書を引っ張りだして関連のあるところを読んでさらに想像を逞しくしました。登場人物が聖骸布を守るために自らの犠牲も厭わない姿には胸を打たれました。テンプル騎士団の清貧な生活もよく描か~~れていたと思います。現代での魅力的な騎士たちもとても気になりました。映画化もされるそうです。~

何でもかんでも、主人公（たぶん）のソフィアが美貌で頭が良いから許させる、
解決できる、所がイマイチでした。
シツコイくらいにソフィアは美しいと出てきます。
最後は、ソフィアが夜にちょこっと本を読んだだけで、
事件の謎を解決してしまう結末は、強引過ぎると思いました。

それに舌のない謎の男達が、トリノの聖骸布を盗もうとしてるのは筋違いだと思います。
だってオリジナルの方が彼らの物なのだから…。

エデッサ王から始まる聖骸布のお話はとっても面白かったです。
