生まれ故郷栃木県をこよなく愛した結果、生まれた書。ふるさとをこんなにも愛せる若者がまだいたのか、と感動すら覚える。地元の方でも知らない歴史などもきちんと調べて丁寧に書いてあるのにはちょっと驚いた。しかし、どうしても地元ネタなので、関東圏内までの方にしかその面白さは十分に伝わらないような気もする。しかし、わたしも栃木県出身、栃木をこよなく愛する者なので、星５つで応援させてもらいます。

とにかく売れているそうです。特に栃木県内を中心に。
自虐ネタの範疇をとうに飛び越えています。
「栃木を愛してる」の言葉に、県民が諸手を挙げ、
全身を浸して酔いしれています。
「おうらも、やればできっと」県民の心に革命を起こしました。
他県ではオリンピックメダリストぐらいしか対象にならない
「県民栄誉賞」を「二人にやっぺー」と知事が言い出すんでは
ないかと心配しています。

栃木県民ではありませんが、とても楽しく読めました。
栃木弁で書いてあるので少し読みづらいところもありますが、それもまた雰囲気ですね。
ちょっとした栃木のガイドブックにもなっていて、遊びに行ってみたくなります。

何より著者のU字工事がいい味出しています。
確かに地方のほのぼのした和める空気もあるのですが、
同時にさすがに芸人だけあってただの田舎のお兄ちゃんではなく、
本の構成や内容について、読む人のことをきちんと考えて書かれているなと感じました。
「あたたかみ」と「洗練」が程よく溶け込んでいる本だと思います。
