原作者の文章の書き方の問題か翻訳の問題かわかりませんが、読んでいると焦点が微妙にずれていき、意味もわかりずらいです。まるで霧がかかっているようです。

途中に出てくるキリスト教の聖人やイスラム教の詩人などの名前は世間に通用している呼び名で訳していただきたかったです。たとえば、日本では『シエナの聖キャサリン』は普通、『シエナの聖カタリナ』と呼びますし、『ジョンによる福音書』などとは絶対に呼びません。日本語に翻訳するのならばそのあたりもリサーチするべきではないでしょうか。

翻訳によってすばらしい本を台無しにすることが最近多いように感じます。スピリチュアルの専門家だからといって翻訳まで専門であるとは限りません。

『聖なるマトリックス』がよかったので買ってみた。訳文についてはほかの方が
ご指摘のとおり。そのため、いい点はつけられないが、それでも本書の美しさは
かいま見えた。本書のテーマは、翻訳時に聖書から重要な情報が抜け落ちたとい
う点にも表れているが、その本書が翻訳の過程で重要な情報と美しさが失われた
のは皮肉と言えば皮肉。出版社がこういうことをしていると会社としての信頼に
もかかわってくると思うが、いかが。

本来はもっと素晴らしい本なのかもしれませんが
翻訳の語訳が不自然に感じる箇所が多く、解りにくさが目立ちました。
祈りは感情というのも、昔から様々な願望成就法の本に書かれていますし、
個人的には目新しいものをこの本から感じることが出来ませんでした。
