「日本映画崩壊」にぶつけてきたような本ですが、
このページの目次に見られる項目が、今では全て元凶となって、
ヒットすることすら難しくなっているのは明らかです。
結局、観客は、そこまで馬鹿ではない、という事を
著者も知るべき、と思える本でした。

論理的展開がほとんど見られないため内容が物足りないばかりか、情緒的形容詞の多用や体言止め、でたらめな句読点と非常に稚拙な文章が目立つ。誤植も多い。筆者は一応、映画ジャーナリストらしいが、この本にはジャーナリズムに必須な批評精神はない。テレビ局の映画事業参入を諸手を挙げて支持しており、ジャリタレ中心の作品も絶賛しているが、このような動きが邦画の質的低下を加速させていることを果たしてどのように考えるのだろうか。
