中国の戦国時代、三国志をマンガ化した作品

この巻は、赤壁の戦いが始まり、両軍が拮抗している所から
始まっています。両軍が拮抗すると何が起こるかと言うと
知略の戦争です。前巻に増して緊張感が高まる中、知恵と
知恵のぶつかり合い、だましあいが面白い内容になっています。
そして起こる赤壁の戦い、これにより曹操が退却を
せざるを得ないのですが、一旦は曹操に世話になった関羽、
弱り切った曹操を目の前にして関羽が下した結論も
面白く書いてあります。
そして、赤壁の戦い後の話の一部へと繋がっています。

曹操の100万とも言われる軍勢を、呉の数万が打ち破るシーンですが
、さすがにマンガの限界かと思われるぐらい少し迫力に欠ける
気がします。しかし、裏の裏をかく、知略の戦いは丹念に
描かれていますのでその点はとても面白く読めます。

少し残念なのは、赤壁の戦いと見たときには12巻の後半から
13巻の前半、そして、その後の玄徳の躍進は、この13巻の
後半から14巻と巻をまたいでいることです。まぁ、その分
勢いを付けて読めるという意味では良いですが少し注意が
必要です。

赤壁の戦い、そしてその後の孔明の戦略など知略に富んだ内容で
とても飽きることができません。戦争を扱っていますが
血なまぐさい事はそんなには無いので、ぜひ手にとって
見る価値があると思います。

三国志の漫画版です。有名な赤壁の戦いのエピソードが描かれています。連環の計に謀られ、曹操の船団は、皆焼かれて、大敗を期します。孔明の活躍が光ります。

騙し、騙しあい、上には上がいて。
「赤壁の戦い」の背景描写、作戦の妙、心理的な側面が堪能できる。
惜しむらくは漫画の限界であろうが地理的なスケールの大きさ、
空から俯瞰するような味わいに欠ける。

周ユは賢く、呉のために孔明を除こうとするが、
目先の己の利「敵の敵は友」的な考え止まりで、
「天下三分の計」のような長期ビジョンを示せない。
同じく賢くても何かが違う。
なぜか、考えさせてくれる。

巻末のタケカワユキヒデのレビューもなかなか興味深い。
