韓国で社会現象になったファンタジーの傑作。
全12巻のうちの1巻ですが、もうすでにファンタジー好きの心を射止める要素がてんこもり。

ドラゴンに母親を殺さたけど明るくたくましい17歳の主人公、豪快な達人剣士、謎の賢者、凄腕の魔術師、妖艶なエルフ。
そして、ドラゴン、トロール、オークなど、おなじみのモンスターの数々！！！！
物語ははじまったばかりですが【300年の約束】【ルトエリノ大王と八つ星】【伝説の大魔術師ハンドレイク】など、この先の物語を予感させるキーワードもたくさんでてきます。

個人的には、韓国モノらしい濃密な人間模様が最大のツボ。
かなりグッときますよー。ああ、早く先が知りたい！

児童書らしく、読みやすい訳と、たくさんの挿絵にも好感が持てます。

登場するドラゴンはそれぞれで、善のドラゴンから悪のドラゴン、中立のドラゴンなんてのもいる。主人公フチの暮らすヘルタント領では恐ろしいドラゴン・アムルタットが猛威を奮っているせいでモンスターは増え、領民は命がけで戦っていた。フチはドラゴンラージャとは何の関係もない、ずるがしこくって、サンソン（ヘルタント領ではみんな強いけど、そん中でも妙に強い田舎の兄ちゃん。）の弱みを握っている少年だった。フチの子気味いい皮肉やモンスターとのバトル、フチの小さいプリンセス・ジェミニとの関係、口に出しては言えないような親父への思い･････笑ったり、エキサイトしたり、ちょっとあったかい思いをしたりしたい人はページをめくってみて。

金田榮路さんの描いた表紙に惹かれて買ったのですが
いまではすごくはまっています!
読みやすいし登場キャラクターも個性があって
楽しく読めると思います。
