この本を読むきっかけは、幼稚園へ通う5歳になる息子が発表会で”きいろいふうせん”をやることになったことからでした。TVでおなじみの志茂田景樹さんが作ったということから、どんな物語なのかとても興味津々でした。早速、購入し、届いた本を読み始めると・・・それはそれは思ってもみなかったやさしく素敵な内容。両親と離れて暮らす「ことねちゃん」の寂しさと、それを見守るおじいちゃん、おばあちゃん。希望をのせてきいろいふうせんをとばすことねちゃん。やさしい森の動物たち。心が洗われるようでした。ことねちゃんの誕生日には動物たちからのプレゼントは「動物たちのコンサート」と、遠く離れていることねちゃんのお父さん、お母さんを連れてきてくれたこと。清らかな涙を誘う一冊です。
