漢方の基本概念から分りやすく説き起こされていて、
東西医学両面からのバランス良い視点で、症状別の
詳しい解説もなされています。
巻末の処方解説もかなり具体的で、実用性大。
自然に知識が身につくので、ある程度は自分
で薬を選べるようになります。
自分の健康は自分で守りたいという方には、
特におすすめです。

漢方をこれから始めようという医師が読むのに，うってつけだと思います．漢方は中国医学が日本にきて，日本の古来の医学と融合して独自の医学として発展してきたものです．西洋医学を学んだ医師が漢方を始めようと思った時に，その独自の理論のために理解不能となることがあります．この本は素人向けに書いてあります．よって，まずはこの本を読んで，漢方の世界を少し理解してから，医師向けの漢方の本を読むと理解しやすくなると思います．

証の見方も大切なのだと思いますが、ややこしく感じられてついつい症状から入りたくなってしまいます。第五章ではあなたの病気・症状にはこの処方、として症状も細かく分かれ、その証に見合った漢方が詳しくあげられています。チャート式なのが分かりやすかったです。１，２章の証の見方漢方医学の治療の考え方、漢方薬の煎じ方や服用の仕方もわかりやすく入門書に最適だと思いました。

ただ、漢方の本は、医家向けと思った方がよいです。
