最初の方は丁寧な解説でなるほどという部分もありましたが、
実戦形式で誰がテンパイしていて待ち牌は何かということを推理する部分は、
その回答が少し飛躍しすぎている、というかもう少し丁寧な説明が欲しいと思う部分も多々ありました。

本書は東大式麻雀シリーズの中の一冊で、守備に的を絞って書かれたものだ。このシリーズの他の本と同様に非常に論理的である。
リーチに対してはベタ下りの初心者の僕には、相当高度な内容。しかし、これを全てマスターすれば、敵の当たり牌をすべて使い切って自分があがる、といった麻雀劇画のワンシーンを再現出来るかもしれない。
今より一段上の麻雀を打ちたい人にはお薦め出来る代物である。

この本はかなり実戦向けに書かれた本です。捨て牌等の基本が分かっていないと少々読みづらいかもしれません。
プロの実戦の牌譜を使って説明されてるので、本格的な雰囲気を楽しむことが出来ます。
