脳（中枢）について、絵を豊富にちりばめ説明文も非常に分かりやすくまとまっていると思います。
これから医学について学ぼうとしている医学系の学生や、すでに臨床で活躍されている方が読む本としてはとても良い内容だと感じます。
医学書といえば、内容は勿論の事、値段が高いという問題点もありますが、この本はこの内容でこの価格！と驚くと思います。
興味のある方は是非ご一読を！！

高次脳機能について学ぶ人が、未知なる世界に足を踏み入れるときに入門書として使用するのに適していると思う。例えば高次脳機能についてのレポートを書こうとしている場合、何から手をつけていいのか分からなくなることが多いだろう。そんな時、まず頭のなかを整理するために使用すると良いのではないでしょうか？？

脳というのは、アイデンティティを含め、人間を人間たらしめる最大の器官である。しかし、その複雑さのため、脳の構造を理解するには、かなりの努力を要する。だが、本書は脳をさまざまな角度から描き、断面図を多く図示しているため、他の類書より比較的脳の構造を理解しやすい。構造を理解することで、今までみえなかった病気の原因を知ることもできる。脳を勉強している学生だけでなく、脳や精神に興味のある人にも、もってこいの一冊である。
