4.0 out of 5 stars 臨床検査値異常の解釈の第１歩, 2001/12/16
タイトル通り、臨床検査値の異常を考察する上で大変有用な本です。その検査値を測定することにどんな意味があるのか、それを測定するとその値から何がわかるのかが図や絵を交えて大変判り易く解説してあります。私のように知識が全くなかった人間でも教科書のようにこれを最初から最後まで読むことによって各臨床検査値を測定する意義、異常値を理解するための知識を自然に得ることができました。また、今でもわからないことが出てきたときには参考書のようにして使用しています。血液検査、血液生化学検査、尿検査の項目ほぼ全てに対応してあり、臨床検査を読む初心者からある程度理解できている方にとってはこれ１冊で十分満足できる内容だと思います。ただ、多くの検査項目がこの１冊にまとまっているため、ある検査項目１つを深く理解しようとされる方には他の本が必要になるかもしれません。

4.0 out of 5 stars 略語の一覧表がない　カタカナでスペルがわからない, 2004/9/28
臨床検査値はほとんどが業界用語の略語でプリントアウトされる。たとえば、クレアチニンはCREである。これがわからないと調べようがない。この本は略語がまったくといっていいほど掲載されていないので、別の本で略語の意味を引いて正式名に変換する必要がある。不親切である。☆異常値の出るメカニズムにまで踏み込んで異常値を解釈しようという姿勢は買えるし、内科学の本を読まなくてもある程度病態生理がわかるので、便利ではある☆グローバル化に伴って、テクニカルタームはできるかぎり原語で憶えることが推奨されているので、カタカナと原語を併記すべきだと思う。スペルがわからないと原書や論文で調べようがないのである。
