漢方を始めて勉強するにはとてもよい本です。15話にわけて、古方の漢方治療を初歩から解説しています。読みやすい口語調であることも魅力ですが、実際に漢方治療に携わるものの目から見て、この本には何よりも「嘘」がありません。大抵の本では、自分が使ったこともない処方まで解説してあり、それは実際の日常臨床では無用な混乱をきたす元であるように思います。本書では、著者は自分の経験に基づいて確信したことだけを文字に残していると感じました。Q＆A形式で進行する話題を追うことで漢方の基礎から応用までを知ることができ、漢方に興味を持つ臨床医には必読の書といえるでしょう。

漢方診療を受ける側がいったい何をされているのかが良く解る良書。
特に腹診で何を診ているのか、写真入りで解説がされているところは他では
見ないので納得した。
巻頭に書かれている通り、漢方医学の復興の時代から一時代先の、
漢方医学の現代語への翻訳への情熱及び、
日本独自の医学である漢方医学を日本の医師として発展させようという
強い意気込みが感じられて、
科学信仰の20世紀に替わる新時代を感じた。

5.0 out of 5 stars 現代の『古方』の標準教科書, 2009/10/17
　この著者の勉強会で漢方を始めた者です。
　講演のレジュメと症例検討会のまとめ、と言って良いです。
　まず、『六病期』と『陰陽』の概念とその期に合わせた方剤の解説。『虚実』の概念。そして『気血水』の概念とその方剤。病態を分類して、それぞれに方剤を適用させるのが「古方」のやり方です。
　葛根湯と太陽期、小柴胡湯などの柴胡剤と少陽期は詳しい。その後、陽明期と陰証期の方剤や、於血、水毒、気の異常について解説。
　漢方の診察法のＤＶＤも付いている、『腹診』を中心とする診察の実際について詳しく解説。
　サブノートも発売されているが、この教科書だけで充分。
　古方の診察法は、おなか等の体に触って診察することを重要視するから、医師でなければその診察法を充分に使うことができないです。で、漢方を志す医師向けと思います。
