「百鬼夜行抄」・・この名前に惹かれて購入しました。

そしてすぐにこの作品の虜になってしまいました。主人公はちょっと軟弱な青年、律。彼は霊感が強く普通の人には見えない魔や妖怪が見えてしまいます。この律と彼を取り囲む妖怪たちとの不思議な日常生活。なんだか懐かしい和風の妖怪たちが満載で、一度読んだらはまってしまう事、間違いなしです。是非、御一読を！

絶対に買って損はありません！！
怖いのが苦手な方は、連載中の雑誌「ネムキ」でチラっと立ち読みして、怖さ加減を試してみて下さい。

今市子さんの美しい絵をカラーで（１ページしかないけど）楽しみたいなら「眠れぬ…コミック」をお勧めします。（作者のあとがきまんがも有り！）

寝る前に布団に入って読むなら、コンパクトで値段も安い「ソノラマ…文庫」をお勧めします。

幻想文学の小説家である飯島蝸牛（かぎゅう）の孫、律（りつ）は、祖父の不思議な力を受け継いだのか、人には見えない妖魔たちが見える。

亡くなった祖父は、そんな律を守るため、死んだ律の父親の体を生きているように見せかけ、その体に青嵐という強力な妖魔を住まわせる。青嵐は律に危害を加えようとする妖魔を食ってしまうのだ（そうとう食い意地がはっていて、ふつうの人間の食事もむさぼるように食べるのだが）。

一見、怪奇もののようだが、絵のタッチが明るく、コミカルなところもあって、あまり怖い感じはしない。尾白（おじろ）、尾黒（おぐろ）という小さな烏天狗のような妖魔を使い魔にしてからは、ますますコメディタッチの部分が多くなってきた。

「きらびき」という紙に刷られたカバーがきれいで、マンガ専門店などで平積みされていると目立っていたが、まさかここまで売れる本になるとは思わなかった。かなりマニアックなマンガなんだけれど・・・。

ちなみに、著者は文鳥を飼っており、尾白と尾黒はそれぞれ白文鳥・桜文鳥をモデルにしている。『文鳥様と私』（あおば出版）というマンガまで描いているくらいの文鳥フリークだ。
